I’m Stephen Sherwood, the owner and operator.

With over 20 years of experience as a Class A General Contractor, I’ve done just about every kind of construction you can imagine. I know what it takes to build something that lasts. My wife, Kelley, handles a lot of the design work. She’s got an amazing eye for layout and style – plus, she keeps the projects on track and organized. Our son, Cylar, is part of the crew too, pitching in wherever he’s needed. We’re a true family team, and we take pride in every project we take on.

Plus, we never ask for a deposit upfront. Instead, we’ll give you a list of materials needed – like lumber, drywall, or fixtures – and you pay those suppliers directly. That way, you know exactly where your money is going. It’s a straightforward, transparent approach that we believe builds trust.

Throughout the renovation process, we’ll keep you in the loop.

We check in regularly to make sure the design is coming together just how you envisioned. It’s your space, after all, and we want you to love it.

We Work With A Solid Team Of PROS

We work with the best: from electricians to plumbers to HVAC specialists – who handle the technical work, like wiring, plumbing, and climate control, so your new space is as comfortable as it is stylish. Need tile work? We have a dedicated installer for that, too. And if your project needs some structural planning, we can connect you with an engineer who makes sure everything is rock-solid and up to code.

Our Process Starts With A Detailed Consultation

We’ll sit down with you to talk about your vision – whether it’s a sleek entertainment space, a cozy guest suite, or a home gym. We’ll listen to your ideas and help you figure out what’s possible within your space and budget. From there, we create custom drawings that capture your vision and serve as the blueprint for the project. This step is crucial because it also helps us secure the necessary permits, which we’ll handle for you.

Once the plans are set, the real work (fun) begins!

Typically, our projects take about 8 weeks from start to finish. We’re there for every step – framing the walls, running electrical and plumbing, installing insulation, and finally, hanging and finishing the drywall. We handle the details, like adding lighting, trim, and even custom finishes, to make your basement feel like a true extension of your home.

We know that communication is key.

That’s why we make it a point to keep you updated throughout the project. You’ll know what’s happening each week and when to expect the next steps. This open line of communication helps prevent surprises and ensures you’re thrilled with the final result.
